Verve card is a local payment card used for making payment for goods/service on Point of Sales (POS) terminal or Merchant’s Website as well as cash withdrawal from the Automated Teller Machine (ATM). Verve cards are acceptable at merchant locations, websites and ATM terminals where the card scheme brands are displayed.

Q: HOW DOES MY VERVE DEBIT CARD WORK?

The Debit Verve Card is linked to cardholder’s current or saving account. Every transaction done

with your Debit Verve Card  will reflect online real time in your bank account. Cardholders can monitor their transactions by simply viewing their account statement.

 

Q: HOW DO I APPLY FOR A DEBIT VERVE CARD ?

It's easy to get a Debit Verve Card – simply operate an individual Savings or Current account with

FCMB and apply  for  a  Debit  Verve Card .  Once you have completed and signed a Debit Card application form, a Debit Verve Card  will be issued instantly

 

Q: HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY DEBIT VERVE CARD  AFTER COLLECTION?

Your Debit Verve Card  can be activated immediately using the in-branch POS terminal. Please see

the Customer Service Manager at any branch to activate your card.

 

Q: WHERE CAN I USE M Y DEBIT VERVE CARD ?

The  Debit  Verve Card   can  be  used  on a local  ATMs,  POS  machines  and  the  internet.

Q: HOW DO I MAKE ONL INE TRANSACTIONS?

All online transactions require your card number and the 3digits CVV (Card Verification Value)

number at   the   back   of   your   card.  Local transactions may require input of a One Time

Password (OTP).

Q: WHAT IS ONE TIME PASSWORD ( OTP)?

One-Time  Password  (OTP)  is  a  code  securely  generated  and  sent  to  confirm  your  online

transactions on Interswitch platform.                                                                                  

Q: HOW DO I RECEIVE MY OTP?

The One-Time Password is sent automatically via SMS  to  your  phone number  registered  with

FCMB.     If  you  do  not  receive  the  OTP,  please  call  our  24  hour  Contact  Centre  number  on

01-2798800 or send a mail to  customerservice@fcmb.com

 

HOW DO I WITHDRAW C ASH AT AN ATM WITH MY DEBIT VERVE CARD ?

To withdraw cash at the ATM, insert your card into the machine and enter your PIN. Select the type of account the card is linked to make a withdrawal and enter the amount of cash you want to

withdraw. Then take your cash, card, and receipt to keep track of your balance.

 

Q: HOW DO I KNOW THE BA LANCE ON MY VERVE CARD  DEBIT CARD?

You can check the card balance on any ATM terminal that accepts your card variance or by viewing

your account details online.

Q: HOW LONG CAN I USE M Y DEBIT VERVE CARD ?

You can make purchases using your Debit Verve Card  until the expiration date shown on the card,

or until the value of the card has been depleted. Once your Debit Verve Card  expires, you can

request from the nearest FCMB branch for a new card

Q: WHAT DO I DO IF M Y CARD IS LOST OR ST OLEN?

Call FCMB 24 Hour Contact Centre on 01-2798800 and request that the card be hot listed immediately. You will be asked a few questions to show that you are the actual owner of the card or visit the nearest FCMB branch to report.
