How to get set up
If you’ve downloaded the FCMB Mobile App but haven’t enrolled yet, it only takes a few steps.
Here’s how to get set up:
- Launch the App
- Click "Signup"
- Click "I have an FCMB Account" and type your account number.
- Validate your account with your card details or an OTP.
- Create your Login Password and Transaction PIN
And you’re all set. You can start banking right away. If you need to adjust your transaction limit, just use your debit card or give us a call on 0700 329 0000.
Token Authentication For Transactions Above N200,000
In line with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) directives, please be informed that transactions of N200,000 and above on the FCMB Mobile App will require token authentication. This means that you will no longer be able to make transactions of N200,000 and above with just your PIN on FCMB Mobile App.
If you don’t have a token yet, you can request one easily.
Upgrade your account from anywhere
You can now upgrade your account from anywhere, no branch visit needed.
Here’s how:
- Log in to FCMB Mobile
- Select ‘Upgrade my Account’ at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the account you would like to upgrade
- Select preferred Account Tier.
- Upload the required documents and submit.
Once you’re done, your account will be upgraded.
Log a Failed Transaction Dispute
Sorting out a transaction issue is now even easier on the mobile app. Here’s what to do:
- Log in to the App
- Select Log Failed Transaction Dispute from side menu
- Select the transaction in question.
- Click "Initiate Dispute"
- Insert extra information and click "Proceed"

3. How Do I Register On The FCMB Mobile App?
If you already use Internet Banking or FCMB Mobile Plus, just log in with your usual username and password.
If you’re new to FCMB Mobile, here’s how to get started:
- Launch the app (if you have not already downloaded it, please click here to do so)
- Select “Sign Up”
- Select “I have an FCMB Account”
- Enter your account number and confirm the account name
- Enter your card details (first 5 and last 4 digits of card PAN), then your card PIN
- Or select “Get OTP” and then enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number
- Create your Transaction PIN
- Enter a Referral Code (optional)
If you don’t have an FCMB account yet, just choose “I don’t have an FCMB account” at step 3 to open one. Once your account is set up, you can follow the steps above to register.
4. Why Is My Device Not Recognised?
This message is displayed whenever you log in to the app on a mobile device for the first time. You need to register your profile on this new device by selecting Register Device. Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number to complete the process.
5. What Is My Maximum Daily Transfer Limit?
The default daily transfer limit is 50,000, but you can increase it if you need to.
- Individual User Profile: One-time limit of 10 million and a daily limit of 25 million.
- Business User Profile: One-time limit of 50 million and a daily limit of 250 million.
6. What Bill Payments Are Available On The New Mobile App?
You can pay for Cable TV, internet, electricity, tolls, online betting and more – all from the app.
7. What Happens to My New Mobile App If I Lose My Device?
If you lose your device, please call our contact centre or email customerservice@fcmb.com so we can help you deactivate it.
8. What Do I Do If I Forget My Username, Password or PIN?
If you forget your username, password or PIN, just tap “forgot credentials” on the app and follow the prompts. You can also reach out to us by phone, email or at any FCMB branch – we’re here to help.
